Mike worked for Southern California Gas Co. for 28 years and retired in 1994. Mike had to slow down after his 1992 cervical fusion surgery, but still was able to fabricate and maintain our Westie kennels. He keeps busy these days maintaining our 12 ½ acre ranch, when not working on Westie stuff, even fabricating his own tractor implements. It is his love of our Westies and the ranch that keeps him going. He and Tad love to go to Home Depot and shop for guy things. Tad rides around in the basket with his red bandanna and smiles at the other customers.

     Mike maintains our website and answers most of the email inquiries and correspondence. He even designed our own pedigree sheet for the puppies, that comes in the "Puppy Package". He is even learning to use our new embroidery machine for personalizing shirts and other items with Westie monograms.
